“Pros: The property itself is visually very nice and has a lot of potential. Cons: The lack of modernization is starting to show. My biggest concern was the lighting; many areas of the property are quite dark at night, which felt like a significant safety issue. Additionally, be prepared for a lot of stairs. If you have heavy luggage or mobility concerns, navigating the layout is difficult. Bottom Line: It’s a lovely setting, but it really needs an upgrade in terms of lighting and accessibility...

“Air handler was so loud it was unusable. In fact, you can hear other room’s air handlers from your room. Was put in a room above the outdoor bar seating and had to deal with so-called grownups drinking and being loud into the early morning hours. You can literally hear every noise in your room as if the walls were paper thin. 2 of the 3 mornings there was no hot water for showers and the breakfast was less than average at best. Finally, be careful you don’t hit the furniture when opening and...

“This property is beautiful. Lovely patio that overlooks a well-kept pond, spacious lobby/restaurant/bar area, rooms are new or newly renovated and are immaculate. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. ”

“The first room we had didn’t have a toilet that flushed. We tried to use the hotel phone which didn’t work. My husband ended up going back down to inform the representative at the front desk. She did change our room so repack everything to move. It was inconvenient. ”
