Hotel economici a Penisola dei Laghi

“An amazing location and room. Great breakfast and convenient to walkable and drivable Lake District attractions.”

“Regrettably our room number 6. Did not smell nice. It had the smell of old wet trainers. We did mention it and a room diffuser was turned on. Some of the fixtures and fitting were falling apart. The shower was head was not appropriate for the size of the shower causing flooding. The staff were lovely and theroom was clean.”

“No SPA was available as was advertised.”

“Breakfast was very good. Quiet. Comfortable walk to town.”

“The the property and gardens, of course are phenomenal. This is an older. estate property so some issues can be expected with the conditions of the finishes. Unfortunately, with us being seniors, it was very difficult for us to get our luggage to the third floor by stairs. The size of the rooms are also quite small but clean. Furniture in the room was appropriate for the period and comfortable. The staff was very helpful in trying to resolve outside issues such as Parking in town which is not...

“Second time staying, excellent base for hiking the fells and mountains, especially with the spa for afterwards. Staff are excellent and friendly, looking forward to our next stay.”

“Very nice place and kind people!”

“Great value for the money. Bunk Bed was too firm.”

“Lovely place but one woman Catrina was amazing as she was left to do everything, check us in , run the pub and restaurant. The room was not very clean. I am handicap and it was hard to get around. ”

“It was a great location. We did find the car park a little bit tight and tricky to get into (as the road was fairly busy when we arrived). The cottage was great and had all we were after and the downstairs bathroom was great for my elderly Mum. The two single beds mattresses were a bit past their best so the only thing I’d suggest to improve the property would be an update of those. Otherwise it was a great place to stay right on the river.”

“Pros: Beautiful cottage, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds Cons: Living room can get very hot at the height of summer (main window has no shutters) Better go via Sykes or Lakelovers.”

“Lovely home in the Lake District. The parking can be tricky during the day so arrive after five and there’s no issue. ”

“Excellent location with a beautiful view from the property. Stayed very cool inside during a heatwave (but could be cold if not so hot outside!). The apartment itself has a good space and a full kitchen. However, there is quite a lot of clutter and lots of unnecessary electronic devices (such as multiple sky boxes, Alexas, wifis, entertainment systems etc). The apartment was clean enough but generally could do with a bit of updating and a clear out of the cupboards, under the bed etc. There is...

“Really comfy, warm apartment with all the facilities needed. Perfect for the village, pubs and shops”

“Home was lovely, the perfect area! Rooms very comfortable and very clean. Could have been more that one roll of loo roll in each toilet as there was 6 of us but other than that it was a perfect stay. ”
