“We stayed at this property for 2 weeks in August 2024. It is a lovely house with a gorgeous pool. The host Susan is the perfect mix of present but unobtrusive. The surrounding area has so much to do, from caves and underground chasms to beautiful villages and Mediterranean beaches. Highly recommend!”

Well equipped with everything you need especially in the kitchen.5 minute drive to both big hypermarkets and easy to get on the ring road and head out further afield. Easy walk into Carcassonne and the train station.Dan and Christine are very responsive to messages. Great stay overall.”

There was a quaint grocery store across from the Villa that provided fresh bread, croissants and other small grocery items. ”

“Beautiful views, lots of privacy and one of the best stocked properties that we have ever rented are what you get with Kilima. And an actual, proper, propane, full-sized BBQ grill which is virtually impossible to find in Europe. Ductless heat pumps in every room so you can always set the perfect temperature. We would have liked to spend even more time in the heated pool but unfortunately the September temperatures were a little lower than we had expected. We had a great stay at Kilima.”

Contact with the owner was by text which was answered quickly but he was not in the country and we had no contact number for his on site representative as we missed her on arrival due to being delayed. The pool and its pool house (with kitchen, shower, WC) is certainly great during hot summers but less useful in later October.
