“The vineyards were beautiful and the pool so quiet and peaceful and heated. The breakfasts were incredible. The location was central and parking was easy. There was an amazing coffee shop inside an old windmill house. I would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Franschhoek. ”

“Amazing stay and amazing staff at Avondrood. Our room was fabulous and well appointed. The included breakfast was great, and it was nice to have a bar on site for an evening drink. Avondrood is well located in beautiful Franschhoek and an easy to walk to restaurants and shops. My wife and I walked in the evening to restaurants in town and felt safe walking back at night. “Absolutely amazing safaris. Highly recommend staying and doing at least the horse riding to get up close to the giraffes. Saw all the animals multiple times, cant complain about how close and often you see the animals. Each safari was unique and special.
