“Friendly Nichole called the day of our stay to give us a heads up on check-in (piece-o-cake.) If you love old architecture, this is for you. This review for SOUTHERN BELLE ROOM. Outer walls brick, inner walls padded fabric. 10-ft ceilings and 18” crown molding! It was a hot day, and we expected our room to be warm with west exposure and 4 big single-pane windows. But they must have a tremendous ventilation system; it was very comfortable. The room had good blackout curtains. They do stand...

“We had visited this property at Christmas time in 2018 and had such a warm lovely experience. It was different this time. I was told new management came in 2020. There are still Christmas trees and dusty wrapped presents on the upper landing. I did enjoy the lemon water and the breakfast was ok. It was just a different, more impersonal experience this time.”

“The sign says free breakfast, low rates, and a pool. None of that was true! Very dirty outside in the parking lot and the hallways. Various people sitting on hood of cars, others on plastic chairs in parking lots lending an unsafe feeling. The room was, however, fairly clean. ”
