“At first I thought “ what did I get myself into” because the hotel is old . But then quickly realized that it’s old but high quality hotel .
Awesome staff members such as Sarah , Glen and maintenance guy Joseph . The property and its surroundings are AMAZING ! And a pleasure to explore the wilderness / suburbs settings along with the creativity of the town of Simsbury .
Plenty of restaurants and stores nearby immediately. They have a park/ frog pond in back of 1820 Hotel along with walking...

“We have stayed here several times over the last few years. We were always traveling by bicycle so we appreciate the restaurant choices nearby. The staff were very helpful with our bikes and allowing us to put them inside in Inn. The room was lovely with really nice touches. We received free water bottles and there is a refrigerator. Coffee and tea are always available in the breakfast room. I loved the comfy chairs in the room and the extra sink. The note pad and pen were a nice touch. ...

“Wayne and Kim were very accommodating and very personable to talk to. The breakfast was yummy (especially the Cabot Greek yogurt), and the house is quaint and quiet. I would come back again and easily recommend this bed and breakfast to friends and family.”

“This hotel was excellent from the time we pulled up at the valet until we left 2 days later. I am an ice person and there is no ice machine, but they brought it up immediately when I called. Check in was seamless and the bar was awesome as well as the breakfast! Definitely would stay again. The little town Square that is right across from it was also very quaint. Lots of shops and restaurants.”

“This hotel is convenient when flying out of Hartford. Checkin was quick and friendly. The Food and Cosmo's were outstanding in the Cloud 9 lounge. The evening bartender/server is exceptional ! I give her a 5 star rating! I've stayed here numerous times and she never disappoints! She recommended delicious small plates and made fantastic cosmo's!
