“Gorgeous old guesthouse, simple breakfast, but lots of cute touches such as port in the room, and the vast array of teas on offer….coffee was awful, but cafe lurlines around the corner is excellent if you need the good stuff….the floors are creaky but that’s part of the charm ….we loved our stay ”

“A well located spot with wonderfully welcoming staff. Our family of 4 including two primary aged kids enjoyed playing ping pong and pool. Super convenient to yummy places to eat like The Yellow Deli across the road and Aldi, Woolworths and Big W just around the corner. A great shared kitchen, common room and dining space. Had a great community feel with fellow travellers being very considerate to each other. ”

“The staff were amazing! From the front desk to the servers and bar tenders, all staff were exceptional. The room was dated as to be expected in a heritage building. They were very clean and comfortable though. Nothing beat the view overlooking Katoomba and the blue mountains. We were lucky enough to get to dine with the most beautiful sunset. ”

“Fantastic location, walking distance to all shops and restaurants. Secure parking. Room amenities were great, having a sink, microwave and access to smart TV apps like Netflix was a bonus. Amazing water pressure in the shower. Great value, we will definitely stay again!”

“It’s a great place for the price, location and quietness. But, it feels very empty with lots of rooms. I’ve stayed several times and never seen anyone receiving cancer treatment or the medical desks in use. I think they should revert to trading without the medical facility label as it has loads of facilities or meditation room, gym equipment, large dining area. ”

“This was a great location for our touring family. They were very helpful when we called to request a main floor room because of mobility issues. We arrived late and checked out relatively early so didn't get a chance to interact with front desk very much. We did not expect daily housekeeping so left some dirty dishes to address after our day out but when we got back, the dishes had been washed, dried and put away to our surprise! Place is older but clean and a great base for daily adventures in...
