“My stay at the Oceanview Hotel was great, but what truly sets it apart is the owner, Edgar, and his wonderful family. They are incredibly hospitable and friendly. Particularly Romerio in the dining room, Janessa and Ingrid in entertainment and Felisha from the customer service area. The food was good and plentiful. The facility was a bit dated, but everything was clean and well kept. I would have no hesitation to return to this resort. ”

“My stay at the Reef House was exactly what I wanted. It has the old Roatan charm to an old dive shop that has the most welcoming staff I have ever met. From the owner Davey to Keith the IT/Bartender and the friendliest cook staff that makes great down home cooking. David the dive master has been out on the reef longer than most have known about Roatan. He knows some really cool places to see.”

“For a reasonable price, it was clean spacious, close to everything, and had a nice porch with a peak at half moon bay. It's a bit worn, and not fancy but more than adequate. The staff were very helpful. ”

“No point to stay here. Lots of seaweeds, it's impossible to swim and snorkeling isn't great either. On top of that the food options are limited and disgusting and the owner is as nice as a kick in the arse. Do yourself a favor: spend a bit more and get a room in West Bay.”
