“Though an older motel that might seem faded at first, the rooms have been redone and provide a really great night’s sleep. What seemed to be a new bed with a sturdy mattress made it a very comfortable stay. And, although on a somewhat busy street, it was remarkably quiet. Staff busy, but responsive. I didn’t swim, but others seemed to be enjoying the pool. No complaints. Clean, no frills.”

“This motel was very clean, especially the bathroom. The beds were not comfy, pillows were lacking, and the wiring for the coffee maker/microwave was sketchy. Also, the TV remote didn't work and had to be replaced. Then, the TV just shut off and wouldn't come back on as we were getting ready to leave.”

“My family and I go to this property usually at least once a year. When I wipe down the room the wipes are always still white and clean the property is always very very clean. The staff is nice. I never have any problems when I go here the cleanliness will always make me return. We are also a fan of the breakfast. My daughter loves the waffles.❤️”

The Bayfront hotels can be outrageously expensive, but Hampton Inn is a reasonable price for being right on the water w/ Erie’s fanciest restaurant on the top floor (Oliver’s). Our 2 Queen room was huge! It had a charming personalized tv greeting and included access to Netflix & Disney+ if you have those subscriptions. Even on the 2nd floor facing inland, we had a beautiful view of the docks. Room was very clean and cozy. Amenities...
