Hotel vicino a Rats of Tobruk Memorial - Canberra

“First night there was a constant knocking sound majority of the night, leaving my partner and I with little sleep. Second night the knocking continued with us contacting reception and changing rooms at 10pm. Reception staff were very good to deal with. Place was tidy and very great location and parking options. Only other down side was the size said there were bath robes but we didn't receive bath robes or the bottle of wine on arrival as stated through Expedia.”

“Hotel distante dal centro. E' necessario un pullman per raggiungerlo , ma a 10 minuti a piedi dal Parlamento. Struttura ben arredata ma che lascia molto a desiderare per quanto riguarda pulizia; abbiamo dovuto chiamare housekeeping per togliere la polvere nella stanza sopra i quadri e sopra le lampadine delle abat-jour dove c'era uno strato di polvere che non veniva tolto forse da mesi, l'abbiamo fatto notare alla reception. “Really nice place to stay. When we arrrived, our deluxe studio room was next to the elevator( a pet peeve), so requested a swap (from one that faced the parliament to one that was on the other side of the building. It was no hassle for the bloke on the front desk, who was super-nice, and the alternate room was actually bigger and better IMHO. Had a dinner and a breakfast in the downstairs restaurant, too. Both times, the food was excellent!”

“The first room we had a toilet that won't stop running, the main tv had had the aerial ripped out so wasn't working. The cutains in the loungeroom were ripped. The carpet in the fining room had a big bare patch.There was dirty crockery in the cupboard. We got moved to another room which had the basin in the ensuite all cracked and the tv in the bedroom wasn't working. One of the toilets was also running all the time. All in all the property maintenance seemed non existant and the reception staff...

“An older building with some ongoing repairs. The room was comfortable. Easy access to buses. Gym is due for some improvements.”

“The room was fine, the hotel was clean and the limited interactions I had with staff were friendly and helpful. The only issue is that the parking is terrible. The hotel carpark is tiny and fills up quickly and the street parking around the hotel is all time limited. If you are travelling for work or are an early riser then this hotel is great but if you are looking for a relaxing stay where you can sleep in, this is probably not the place for you.”

“The room had 2 cracked pains of glass the shower exhaust fan was caked in dust so were the vents in the room the carpet needs a good steam clean Over all the room was comfortable the bed was ok The whole hotel could do with a paint it looks abit shabby”
