“Before arriving I called the hotel to let them know we will be coming in later and they completely understood. Upon arriving we noticing the hotels well maintained environment even though the hotel is located at the South but it was very well taken care of. Breakfast was so yummy and would always be refilled.”

“I had a good stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Austin South. It’s a solid business hotel with everything you need for a comfortable trip. The room was clean and well kept, the bed and pillows were comfortable, and I appreciated having access to a pool, gym, and bar/lounge. The staff was welcoming and nice. The location was also convenient, close to the freeway and near a Walmart, which made quick stops easy. Overall, a reliable and very pleasant place to stay in Austin.”

“This hotel is very nice, however, the staff is very inconsiderate and not very helpful. On my very first night staying, there was no ice in our room, because the ice maker in the refrigerator does not work. I was told that if I wanted ice, I had to drive to Walmart.... at 11:30pm. So we did without ice. The next morning, the shower leaked all over the floor and out into the hallway. This is not their fault as it is a shower design for wheelchair use. “No ice machine, no light bulbs in room, no reusable cups, no coffee maker. Refrigerator worked well. No trash can. Booked 3 nights stayed 1. Beds were nice, room fairly clean. Get what you pay for. Good for people working in town and going home on weekends maybe. Will not stay there again. Booked for 3 nights and stayed one night.”

“For the price this place is good. The a/c was cold but loud. The building needs updating but the staff are very nice and the place is clean. It was easy enough to drive to but it isn’t anywhere near to downtown. The hotel feels safe. ”

“Due to overbooking, we were given a much smaller room than we paid for. We needed two beds and were switched to a one bed so they wheeled in a tiny cot that was very uncomfortable and didn’t give us blankets or pillows for it. When we asked for some, they said they didn’t have any. Three times staff came into our room without knocking, once at midnight while we were already sleeping to bring a pillow.
