“We stayed for three days and it was just what we needed. The owner did as much as she could for us and was always . The room was clean and the cooking facilities were adequate.”

“Traveled 6hours and wanted a hot shower and to settle into bed for an early morning Departure. When we turned up, our room hadn't been vacuumed. We were given a room and had to run the shower for 10mins, for it to get warm. THEN we tried to settle in bed but people were being loud/swearing etc outside the room and a child was running up and down outside our door so we had to request a new room. While the room was reasonably clean on arrival and the staff were polite, there were several maintenance and presentation issues that affected our experience. The room had no heating despite it being winter, and the portable air-conditioning/heating unit provided was not functioning, making the room quite uncomfortable during the colder nights. “It was everything we required for a one night stay , it provided kitchen facilities that enabled a meal to be cooked. It is very well situated and easy to find right next to the main motorway from Auckland however there were no eateries that we found close hence the meal cooking ”
