“Super hotel in middle of Dolgellau. Efficiently run by courteous friendly professional staff. We did not eat there but wish we had! Everything as it should be in a good hotel. Plentiful overnight parking in the long stay carpark behind the hotel. Some traffic noise as it is an old building with single glazing but that is to be expected. ”

“The food was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful, only disadvantage were the two flights of stairs up to our room which wasn't the hotel,s fault, but lovely views of the high street when we got up there !!!”

“A parte le colazioni calde che erano ottime, le camere sono decisamente sporche, sembrava che le cameriere sistemassero solo il letto (bottiglie vuote non tolte, una farfalla é rimasta a terra morta per 3 notti, capelli non nostri in bagno….). Positivo, le colazioni calde davvero buone. Non ci tornerei più e non lo consiglio!!!!”

“Lovely hotel in quiet location overlooking the estuary. Fab bathroom with large tub. Excellent view from my room. Lovely breakfast with great choice of food. It's a shame they don't do evening meals but there are plenty of options in Barmouth centre just 10 minutes walk away though you will have an uphill walk back. Really enjoyed my stay. ”

“The whole experience was fantastic clean comfy great people kayleigh was very polite and friendly i must also mention the shower it was so powerful didn't want to come out. Its a 2 minute walk to beach. BARMOUTH BEACH CLUB is a fantastic get away ”

“The inn brought me home to Wales and was a shelter from a storm within a warm community. Dai will go above and beyond to care for his own and strangers. “Its very peacefull and quite and clean. Its self catering and shops are bit far so best take extra food and grocery. We stayed in bunglow and they got nice clean kitchen with all the cooking facilities. Rooms are nice but mattress are bit old.View from bunglows are lovely,I ll try to share image. Staff are friendly. All in all 5 stars. Price reflects. ”

“Yr Hen Farcdy is wonderful accommodation in a beautiful setting, close to Snowdonia and all the special areas of north Wales. The rooms are comfortable, attractive and private, and the hosts Mike and Sue could not be more hepful. The breakfasts are delicious with a great range of options. We loved our 6 nights there and highly recommend it as a base fir exploring the region, or a spot for just chilling out.”

“The lodge was in a nice secluded position with its own parking. It was comfortable with modern specs, decor, a comfortable sitting area and bed with plenty of room for a travel cot. Within walking distance to the lovely restaurant. Had a lovely stay with my hubby, thank you.”

“Room is perfect. Beautiful views and a very comfortable bed and pillows, the best nights sleep ever. Location is perfect too. ”

“Camera e bagno molto piccoli, da non potersi muovere in due, e situata nel in mansarda, obbligati a chinarsi per non sbattere la testa. Bagnoschiuma e shampoo per una sola persona. Personale poco ospitale. Colazione scadente (in particolare bacon pessimo). Ci chiediamo come possa essere stato classificato 4 stelle.”
