“Hotel was great, very well run. If you have a kitchen you need to pay $50 for cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils - they aren't automatically in the unit. The Rio del Mar beach is very neglected and dirty, not sure why, as it's in a nice area. Also be aware that the area is foggier than Santa Cruz Boardwalk Beach, so worth driving there for better weather and frankly a much nicer beach. Nisene State Park is 5 min from the hotel and has beautiful Redwoods and plenty of hiking opportunities. ...

“We really enjoyed our stay! Theres alot of options for eating and two thumbs up for their complimentary breakfast, they had great options for adults and children. Pool was refreshing and hot tub was great just wish it was hotter in temperature.
But everyone there was very friendly and polite.
I actually left something behind in our room we stayed in and i called them to ask them if they can please not throw it away and I will pick up as soon as i could which the did and that made me so happy....

“Great property, comfy beds and clean sheets. Has sliding glass doors and a large balcony. Just wish the patio had a mosquito screen so we could have slept with open windows. The air had a bit of a moldy smell to it when we turned it on. Everything else was amazing. ”

“The staff was very kind and helpful. Trevor was extremely helpful with check-in and anything else we needed! He was truly the goat. The room itself was clean and very nice. The only complaint I had is we were staying in a two bed room and one bed was insanely squeaky. Everytime they moved at night we were waking up. But our bed made no noise at all. Its crazy how much noise it made.
Other than that, amazing stay. Will be staying again if I come to Santa Cruz for another over night. ”

This property is in a quiet area but within driving distance to downtown Santa Cruz and all its attractions. Will be back soon! ”
