“Hotel is not set up to be a 4 or 5 star hotel. I am surprised it has the Marriott tag! Staff however were very professional and helpful. Entrance at ground level, small dark and no service desk. Reception is at 7 floor. No proper closet in the room. Not enough furniture to put your stuff on. Our room required 2 more bedside cabinets and a central console. I needed to check-out early, at around 4am, I did a valet parking, and I told the day staff that I will be checking out early so I needed my car at around 4am, he told me that there will be no problem only to be told rudely by morning staff that I did not specify the time that I will be checking out.”

“I’m a regular at Middle Park. It’s sited in my favourite part of Melbourne and parking is a breeze. The rooms are well designed and fairly quiet. All hotels start to slide at some point. Things start to break, things get damaged, people take their eye off the ball. I feel like the first signs of this are starting to appear. A poorly functioning showerhead; a door that won’t properly close; dust and dirt in those hard-to-reach areas of the room, a paint chip here, a scratched cupboard there....
