“The property was extremely clean and taken care of. The only pleasant employees we came across was a pool bartender guy and front desk guy. Everyone else seemed like they did not enjoy being there and did the bare minimum for working in hospitality to try and help us. Food was ok at best. Casino dealers were lacking a personality which made the gambling experience not that fun. Very strict alcohol policy - no drinking on the casino floor and all alcohol drinks have to be paid for. “The drive to Hyatt Tamaya Resort is absolutely beautiful and sets the tone for the entire stay. The scenery is peaceful and relaxing, and along the way you pass a gorgeous golf course and horses, which makes the whole experience feel unique and almost secluded from the city in the best possible way.
The resort itself is massive, stunning, and incredibly well maintained. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and welcoming, which made the atmosphere feel even more relaxing.

“The front desk her name was Nancy. She was very kind to us, when my boyfriend and I went down there to mention about the toilet not flushing she gave us another room and not just any room a suit which she didn't have to do but she did it anyway and that was so sweet of her. “In our room the bathroom outlet did not work and that was the only mirror so it was hard to do my hair. The lights worked when you wiggled the switch. The floor’s wooden tiles were messed up, the ice machine wasn’t working and the front desk agent that checked us in did not allow me to change my form of payment. I would not stay here again.”

“Perks: great breakfast, pool, hot tub, and room. Cons: Terrible fitness area with a broken treadmill and a couple of dumbbells. It was incredibly small and could only fit one or two people at a time. Also the side doors were not working so we had to walk around the building to unload all of our stuff.
