“Neglected and noisy hotel. The curtains were stained with blood. There is no air conditioning which came from the ceiling but cold or hot air which was produced by a fan coil on the ground under the window which if you have to operate it is extremely noisy and raises the dirty curtains. At 4 am the bathroom started making an intense noise, with a frightening vibration and at very high decibels. The lady at the reception refused to come and check the terrible noise. “This was an astounding property! It is beautiful, occupying the grounds of a closed Jesuit seminary. The gardens, water features and art works were all so well done. It is five star all the way. The rooms are nicely appointed with some of the most unique and thoughtful minibar selections I have encountered. It is very comfortable, yet very modern.
