The location is excellent with the beautiful West Bay beach at your doorstep, a short walk to great snorkeling and a bunch of great restaurants and bars. “My stay at the Oceanview Hotel was great, but what truly sets it apart is the owner, Edgar, and his wonderful family. They are incredibly hospitable and friendly. We struck up a conversation over lunch at the hotel restaurant—where the food was excellent—and ended up talking about sports. When Edgar learned that I play pickleball at home, he invited me to join his family that evening for a game. “Gorgeous property. The pool area and the beach were really nice, and you can snorkle right off the beach and see tons of colorful fish. It rained almost our whole stay and there was a leak in our bathroom ceiling at one point, but it was fixed quickly. The spa facilities were so tranquil and have a great view of the ocean as well. Breakfast was good, though it is definitely on the pricier side. There is a free evening shuttle into town and a free cocktail at sunset. Would stay again. ”
