“Family stay visiting the Jurassic coast region this cottage is a little way set back from the coast but in a quiet rural location .We visited Whitby , Robin Hood Bay and Scarborough . Cottage is clean and comfortable , with everything you need in kitchen . A very well maintained garden and lovely outlook over farmland . ”

“We stayed over for the concert at the open air. The hotel was clean and well maintained- all the staff were polite and friendly. Our room was clean. The bar was lovely and the restaurant and breakfast was perfect. The en-suite was very small but clean. The only thing that would have meant full star rating would have been a better parking arrangement, - a quality mattress and blackout curtains. That being said we would definitely stay here again.”

“We stayed as we were at a wedding. The room was fine but nothing special considering the price we paid. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice but the hot food was not that hot and the plates were cold. The staff were all helpful and friendly. There was some sort of error with our holding deposit which has not been refunded. Hopefully this will be sorted out soon .”

“Good location and our room had an amazing sea view. Room was a bit shabby and we had to ask for toilet roll and soap. Staff were friendly and helpful. Easy to walk to the centre of Scarborough and all the ameneities in the town.”

“Ho passato una notte in questo ostello e decisamente lo raccomando sia per la sua suggestiva location che per la particolare atmsfera dell'ambiente che lo circonda. Davvero un posto particolare. Trattandosi di un ostello i servizi sono adeguati allo standard della struttura. Ottimo rapporto qualita' prezzo. Ma , ripeto, il pezzo forte e' la posizione a fianco delle rovine dell'Abbazia che dominano la cittadina. Non lo consiglio a chi ama pernottare in centro citta' o in luoghi affollati e...

“Had a great stay. Only downside was the size of the en-suite. It was rather small in our standard room. Hasn’t put us off staying again though at sometime in the future.”

“The location of the cottage is excellent, right next to the river Esk and on a very quiet holiday park (in April anyway). There is an amazing viaduct over the river where there is bungy jumping every couple of weeks during the summer and you can walk over it into Whitby which is only 30 mins away on foot. The pool is NOT 24 hrs as advertised and you have to pay. The property can be a bit difficult to find because the name plaque of the plot is covered by an overgrown hydrangea. If you use what 3...
