“A superb hotel, the views are phenomenal, staff are friendly and approachable. Lots of choice for food, buffet breakfast and an extensive menu for other meals. The room was clean and well stocked. ”
“Excellent check in by Matt, enabled us to check in early and took all our bags up to the room for us. Room was clean and comfortable and we couldn't hear any noise from the bar downstairs. Excellent location opposite the train station and all local amenities on the doorstop.
Unfortunately the live act that was on was singing IRA Support songs and when my partner objected and complained we were asked to leave the bar. The singer did admit that he was wrong and had caused us being told to leave”
“I recently stayed for a night and had a wonderful experience. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and had such great character—especially loved the mezzanine bedroom. The service was spot on, with friendly staff greeting us warmly and checking in during our meals. Food and drink were fantastic too, making it a memorable visit overall. I can't wait to come back!”

“The property itself was perfect. A lovely little cabin with all needed for a quiet stay. The main issue for us on an admittedly short stay, were the distance from Whitby and Robin Hood’s Bay. There were no grocery shops within a walkable distance or short drive. ”
