Gianicolo near Trastevere Vatican nice studio well equipped with large terrace

A little but very nice apartment (monotype) provided with air conditioning (heat pump), bathroom with shower box, hair dryier, color tv, free Wifi, kitchen-corner, well equipped (two induction plates, micro-wave oven, electric italian type caffettiera, toaster) and panoramic very large (41 square meters) terrace with awning, table, chairs and chaises-longues. For two persons. Located in the residential historical and artistical area of Gianicolo-Monteverde Vecchio, near the Parks of Villa Pamphili and Villa Sciarra, fifthin minutes away from the center of Trastevere, 25 minutes by bus from Colosseo. The most famous view of Rome is from the top of this hill (three famous points of view!). Urban train FL3 in the station of Quattro Venti is 250 meters away. Very good restaurants, open air market, supermarket (one big open until 8,30 pm, one little open until 10 pm, any kind of shops (a delicious pastry and ice-cream shop too!) in the same street or very near. Very good and very cheap pizzerie-rosticcerie (also take-away). The lift arrives to the fourth floor. There are twenty more normal steps to climb. There is also a private foam fire extinguisher. I live in the apartment below the studio.

Molto ben ricevuto da Maurizio, lo studio si trova vicino a stazione del treno , vicino a Trastevere, comodo quindi per accesso al centro. Lo spazio é piccolo e accogliente, non manca nulla, sicuramente torneró. Grazie Maurizio per l'ospitalitá.

Soggiorno ottimale! Un monolocale piacevole, pulito, ben organizzato e silenzioso con una splendida terrazza ombreggiata. Comodo al centro con bus, taxi o piacevoli camminate ma fuori dal caos. Proprietari molto gentili! Al nostro arrivo Maurizio ci ha accompagnati in auto in giro per il quartiere per “scoprire” la zona; fantastico! Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Un posto assolutamente da consigliare! Ritorneremo.

I cannot recommend this studio enough. It is in a perfect location- not too close to major tourist attractions but close enough that it is very easy to travel to them. The patio/terrace provides spectacular views of the city and is even better at sunset. The actual studio is spacious and clean. I will be coming back!

Nice small studio that everything we needed. Nice terrace to relax in the evening and far enough out of town that you can enjoy some truly local food but still close enough to walk or taxi into the city.Maurizio was great! He gave us a guided tour when we arrived that gave us a quick overview or Trastevere and Rome highlights. We were very happy to have chosen this place to stay. Next visit to Rome we will be staying here.

Maurizio is incredible! So generous with his time, gave us a wonderful tour of the Trastevere area when we arrived to help us understand the area. Amazing terrace, equipped with a big bed, small kitchen, and bathroom. Maurizio, thank you for your attentiveness to us, and your kindness and helpfulness! I would go out of my way if I can ever come back to make it to this accommodation.

Excellent séjour dans le logement de Maurizio qui est bien situé et proche des transports en commun. Le logement est très fonctionnel et la terrasse est très agréable . Un très grand merci à Maurizio d'être venu nous chercher à la gare et de nous avoir fait faire un tour dans le quartier en nous montrant les points d'intérêts. Nous recommandons ce logement à 300% et conservons l'adresse pour y revenir lors d'un futur voyage.

Property is great for a short break , in a good area with plenty of local shops and places to eat. Good bus service from the stop outside with a 5 min trip into the city, great terrace to sit and eat , and it is peaceful.

This small apartment is in a really nice and safe neighbourhood. Has everything you need and it is away from the hustle and bustle of Rome but close enough to walk if you want. Public transportation was very good and on time. Trastevere has a lot of charm. Nice restaurants, markets etc. The best part of the apartment is the private patio. Maurizio and his wife are great hosts and local guides if you need anything during your stay.

The studio was actually a bit larger than I’d anticipated and was perfect for me and my teenager to share. We both loved the terrace, as most days of our stay it was warm enough to have breakfast and dinner out there, with views of the sunset over the Trastevere rooftops. The bed was very comfortable and all necessary items were provided in both the bathroom and kitchen. Our host, Maurizio, could not have been more kind and helpful! As others have mentioned (which was why I booked this place!), he collected us from the local train station and also gave us about an hour’s guided tour (by car) of the local Gianicolo Hill area.

Small, well equipped, secure, wonderful neighborhood and amenities. Thus was our first time in Rome and i cannot imagine imagine a better combination of access to sites and activities and opportunities to see how how one part of Rome lives.

I enjoyed my four weeks in Rome, especially because I could return "home" to a quiet area after sightseeing all day. The studio and the rooftop terrace is an independant unit in the building. Even if the facilities are a little old, everything works, and are as described and shown on the pictures: a small room with a kingsize bed, plus kitchen and bathroom.All the former rewiews are true, and Maurizio is very, very kind and helpfull. Thank you very much.

The flat was lovely and perfect for what we needed for our short trip. It was snug, but definitely enough room for two people. The private terrace was a real bonus as even in February we were able to wind down in the evening. The bus route towards the city goes from about 5 mins away, and returning drops right at the door, so well connected if out of the way. Would recommend for traditional couples.

Maurizio’s apartment was a great place to base ourselves for 4 days. Maurizio went above and beyond to host us by picking us up from the train station with our bags and he let us check out late. The terrace is huge and would be a wonderful spot in the summer

El apartamento es pequeño pero muy cómodo para dos personas, tiene absolutamente todo lo necesario. La cama es muy cómoda, el agua del baño sale caliente, tiene calefacción. La limpieza es impecable. En cuanto a su ubicación para mi fue perfecta. Tiene combinación de transporte público y la estación de metros a 1 km. Maurizio es súper amable y siempre accesible ya que vive en el mismo edificio. Nos recogió de la estación de trenes recién llegados del aeropuerto y gentilmente nos llevó al apartamento incluyendo una pequeña excursión por el barrio, dando indicaciones de donde estaban todos los servicios (restaurantes, supermercados....). También hacer mención a la estupenda terraza que tiene el apartamento, con unas preciosas vistas, pero no pudimos disfrutarla debido al frio y a la lluvia, se quedó pendiente. En cuanto a ruidos nada de nada. En general, todo perfecto. Un millón de gracias Maurizio Rosati.

Der Aufenthalt war super. Die Wohnung hat alles was man braucht und die Dachterrasse ist selbst im November einfach ein Traum. ( Das Haus hat einen Aufzug:-) ) Die Nahverkehrsanbindung ist super, ohne von Lärm belästigt zu werden. Mehrere Busverbindungen, sowie die Regionalbahn, fußläufig in 1 - 10 errreichbar. Caffe-Bars und Supermärkte mit Bäcker in unmittelbarer Umgebung, wie auch eine Vielzahl von Restaurants. So nun aber zum wichtigsten....Maurizio...der Vermieter. Er ist großartig, unglaublich hilfsbereit und engagiert. Wir haben vorab diverese Tips zur Anreise bekommen. Sind mit dem Regionalzug gefahren und wurden am Bahnhof Trastevere von ihm mit dem Auto abgeholt. Es folgte eine zweistündinge Rundfahrt während der er uns Restaurants, Supermärkte, den Wochenmarkt in der Umgebung zeigte, wie auch die Sehenswürdigkeiten. Den Gianicolo...traumhafte Sicht auf Rom. Bei der Abreise organisierte er uns ein Taxi, da die Bahn wegen Bauarbeiten nicht zur Verfügung stand. Wir werden gerne wiederkommen!

Maurizio y si esposa nos han atendido muy bien. Nos han ayudado en el transporte y acto de conocer el barrio. Tienen muy cuidado su estudio donde alojarnos. También merece la pena pagar por el alojamiento.
