Do not book!
I didn’t like this place at all. First of all there was no welcome basket when we arrived. I communicated with the owner and he/she said there is one and didn’t believe me. I asked that the A/C is not on he/she said check the welcome basket. I asked for the wifi password and it wasn’t provided for me on time. First day I had no wifi. I asked again for the A/C and this time they said we can’t use it as per Roma law. Then why is it advertised on your site? Also I must mention it was 28 degreees during the day and 18 during the night. Still very muggy and no good. No information was provided to open and close windows. No shampoo and soap. The toilet didnt have a toilet seat. Like are you kidding me. This place is very out of the way and horrible bus and transit service to city centre. Do no book this place. I repeat do not. The info on site is false.

Clean but needed some maintenance
Property was clean and looked like the pictures. Property could be better maintained. The shower drain must have been clogged because the shower filled quickly and there was no tub so I had to take quick showers. The hot water may have had a problem because the water would only get warm at best when turned all the way to hot. The shower head was also pretty gross and was due to be cleaned. The metal window shutter was broken and when I tried to lift it to let light in it wouldn’t stay up. The owner mentioned that the previous person staying there broke the toilet seat and there was a crack all the way through the toilet seat. The sink was right next to the toilet so it forced me to sit right on the broken part of the seat. That being said, they did send ample check-in instructions and when I had difficulty differentiating between the sets of keys for the property I was able to get ahold of her and she helped make sure I was able to get into the room.

Rome Visit
Host was responsive in her communications. The property entry was different from any we have experienced in the past. Once the Host provided clearer instructions, entry was made easier thereafter. This property was "very secure" as it required the main door key entry to get into the building; key code to get into the VRBO apartment complex with the door having a multiple piston locking mechanism; and a key to your room. The room had a few issues while there which the Host had corrected.
