“Dinner at The Kitchen by Wolfgang Puck was excellent. The ambiance of the Lumber Barons bar was great. Rooms were huge with two beds and two bathrooms. About the only negative is that the two bathrooms are too small and both have bathtubs posing a fall hazard. Sinks are too wide for the toilet also. Otherwise a great place to stay.”

“The Finnley is more an Air B&B than hotel. Excellent location, easy access, and felt private. The room was very well decorated feeling like a loft apartment. The bed was comfy. The only recommendations I would give to the property manager would be to provide more towels and a larger trash or a suggested place to take trash. A note: there is no parking at this hotel. The parking garage across the street cost us an additional $48 per night.”

“Parking isn’t hard but not fabulous if you have a lot of luggage. Location was good but room was very basic & small. Fine for an overnight but extended stay would be cramped. ”

“This was definitely a unique experience and was perfect for a quick visit to Grand Rapids for a work trip. You can walk to shops, amenities are all around, I was 4 minutes from the office and street parking was free and abundant. This was very similar to an Airbnb experience, self check-in and out without the list of tasks to do. The room was clean, bathroom was clean and the room had adequate supplies and a steamer, which was super convenient. It’s great if you need a quiet place to stay...

“When I went there to check in,There were nobody in the lobby.I had to call someone of the property from the lobby phone hanging on the wall and they said they are over sold so I can’t provide me any room,I called Expedia and they gave me another hotel but I literally had to wait until 1:30am for check in.I must thank the Expedia agent but I will never ever stay in that extended America property and I will never recommended to anyone.I am businessman and i travel a lot and stay in hotels all over...

“This room was not very clean. Staff had gone through and spot cleaned but the property itself was neglected and dinghy, in need of a deep clean (dust in corners, weird smell). There were also not enough plugs in the room. The one closest to my side of the bed was too far from nightstand and would also not hold the plug in, ended up charging my phone in the bathroom.”
