“I traveled for business, but the room didn't have a suitable chair to work at the desk/bench from. It was no problem getting one. Parking is good and is a reliable place to stay.”

“The only think is can you please put a couple more t-bags and coffee in the rooms then I don't have to ask for more as I feel awkward asking for more or going to the foyer cupboard to help myself everything else and breakfast was great - we were looking to have dinner at the restaurant on Saturday night but it was closes so we had to go elsewhere”

“A top notch experience for our four night stay in a one bedroom apt at East Hotel in Canberra. Underground parking was a key consideration for our stay and it worked well ($20 a night). Very pleasant and helpful staff and a great restaurant (Italian) downstairs where we had both breakfast and dinner a couple of times. Fast wifi. “Best hotel we've stayed in in Australia. Lovely 1920s building, helpful staff, attractive bar, good location for many sites and on a number of bus routes (Canberra is not a very pedestrian-friendly city). Only quibble would be that, as one of the, possibly the, leading hotel(s) in the Commonwealth capital, a wider selection of Australian wines, and notably some from the smaller wine regions (for example, Beechworth, VIC) could be available.”

“Hotel distante dal centro. E' necessario un pullman per raggiungerlo , ma a 10 minuti a piedi dal Parlamento. Struttura ben arredata ma che lascia molto a desiderare per quanto riguarda pulizia; abbiamo dovuto chiamare housekeeping per togliere la polvere nella stanza sopra i quadri e sopra le lampadine delle abat-jour dove c'era uno strato di polvere che non veniva tolto forse da mesi, l'abbiamo fatto notare alla reception. “Lovely stylish room, friendly staff. No restaurant or bar inside the hotel, they are around the corner. We had trouble finding the hotel due to major roadwork and this should be mentioned in the welcome message. We phoned the hotel twice for direction while driving around in circles and each time got a vague response. This was not how we wanted to begin our stay. A moment of good customer service to alert guests before they arrive would have been valuable.”

“This hotel is now getting a little dated. My shower wa pretty old. The reality is that it was cheap to stay here and for the cost it was excellent. I am happy to have affordable nice accomodation. At the end of the day it is somewhere to sleep. The breakfast was dry md pretty ordinary.”
