“Struttura priva di ascensore. Stanza piccola e soffocante. Il condizionatore era un alambicco attaccato al muro molto rumoroso e poco efficace nel rinfrescare. Nei dintorni c'erano barboni, prostitute e persone con siringhe alla mano. Zona poco affidabile. Eviterei questo hotel”

Vicinissima la fermata del bus per andare ai Butchart Gardens. Nella hall è sempre disponibile gratuitamente per gli ospiti caffè americano e tè caldo.”

“My room was extremely clean and the property is located in an incredible spot and it was nice to be able to park my rental car right on the property and be able to walk everywhere and although the property is a bit dated, it’s well looked after. ”

“Great historic old mansion. Nice staff, great breakfast and overall a nice staff. Only quibble is the noise from the next room. They were enjoying life”

“We are a family of 5 and stayed in a room with 3 double beds and it was clean and comfortable. It is right beside a lounge and we could hear a bit of music but that didn’t bother us and my kids are 6, 11 and 14. By 11pm I think it would be quiet already. Would stay here again. ”

“Booked this hotel because of the pool but was told it was it was owned by a different owner. Also was told there was a lawsuit going on between the owner of the pool and hotel. The cost is then $50 a year to use the pool. Extremely misleading and would not stay here again.”

“The Dashwood is a heritage building and obviously would have many challenges to maintain a top notch accommodation site. Along with being exceptionally clean Dashwood also does a very good job of keeping the authenticity of the building while adding modern improvements with a heritage touch (ie. new soaker tub, sink and toilet fit the look of an old fashioned bathroom). The breakfast room, with a view of the ocean, was beautiful and the food scrumptious! The staff were polite, friendly and...

“Overall an ok stay. Nothing special about the hotel really. it is located in a fairly loud area, so if you’re a light sleeper, you may want to use the ear plugs found in the beside tables.”
