“The boat harbour view was pleasant from our room. The extra bed in the room should have been a King single,our son’s feet were hanging off the end. The basin in the bathroom was very very low. The shower needed a good scrub. Better quality toilet paper,so thin.”

“Reception not 24 hours but there are after hours key pick up and drop off. Parking was not a problem and after hours key pick was smooth. All appliances works except one hot tap in the bathroom was extremely loud when turning on. Upstairs is also steps only with no lift, have to be careful if there are issues with stairs when booking.”

I stayed for one night while attending a wedding reception nearby. The accommodation itself is quite basic. However, I was disappointed that some common amenities were missing, such as a mirror inside the room for guests to get dressed, a bedside alarm clock, and an intercom or phone to contact reception. The location is excellent — right on Church Street and only a short walk to the Mall, Belmore Basin, and both North and City Beach. “The room was billed as a two bedroom apartment which is true. It had a fully fitted out kitchen, a small laundry, lounge, dining table and a single bathroom. It is a comfortable two bedroom apartment with secure parking underneath the building. Access is via a lift. It is located close to the centre of town and walking distance to the cafes and restaurants on the beach.”
