“Dovevamo arrivare alle 23 per cui abbiamo scelto di dormire vicino all’aereoporto per arrivare a Londra in mattinata riposati. Siamo arrivati alle 4 di mattina per mega ritardo del volo… scambiando messaggi con l’albergo abbiamo avuto istruzioni precise per accedere comunque alla nostra camera… abbiamo trovato il divano letto da aprire e rifare, e alle 4 di mattina è stato spiacevole! Per il resto niente male. Buona location. All’aereoporto di Stansted per avere un taxi c’era da aspettare 2 ore...

“Hotel situato accanto ad un grande parco al di la' del quale si trova il centro cittadino. L'hotel è sopra un pub ma non si sentono rumori che disturbano. Colazione abbondante compresa nel prezzo con grossa scelta di portate che costerebbero circa 13-15 sterline a testa. Camere piccole ma accoglienti e con tutto l'occorrente compresi phone, intere bottiglie di shampoo e sapone e anche bottiglie di crema emolliente per le mani. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo. “After a long day walking arriving here was a pleasure. The staff were welcoming and although the kitchen was about to close they held off closing and served me.The room was just what was needed. Clean, and quite, and a comfortable bed. In the morning there was a very generous continental breakfast that kept me going for quite a long stretch of that day's walking without need to refuel! I would most certainly recommend this place and would definitely stay again if I was passing through.”

The roads accessing it may be a little windy & tight but Ayot is such a beautiful area it is worth the trip. “Lovely rustic pub / hotel. Room was great with the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in for some time. Kitchen was closed for refurbishment but only a short walk into the centre of the village. Good choice of cask ales in the bar. Will stop here again if work brings me back to the area”
