“We greatly enjoyed at the West Linn cottage. The cottage is conveniently located close to shopping, local parks and the highway. The cottage was well stocked, and the hosts were helpful and accommodating. the sitting area behind the cottage was isolated and pretty and a nice place to have breakfast. The area behind the house was wooded. We would definitely consider staying there again”

“Everything about this house easily met our needs. Beds were comfortable and the home lived up to the reputation for beautiful views. While the sound of the highway was audible it was not bad and the white noise machine just made it sound like we were near a river. My Prius didn’t care for the steep driveway so we parked on the street but we had no trouble getting a spot next to the driveway. ”

“I cant say enough good things about our stay at white walnut estate. The cute casita was beautiful and very accommodating for me and my wife. The owner was extremely accommodating to our needs, very romantic with a fire in the evening and the views were so peaceful and relaxing. Very close to town, while feeling like you were far from everything. Has a washing machine and dryer, mini kitchen, dishwasher, and refrigerator. Not to mention the wines here are exceptional. We will be back for sure.”

“This house was great for my husband and myself. The location was excellent. The house was very clean and had many updated items. I really appreciated the gas stove and a frying pan that you could actually use for cooking. I would highly recommend this house to people staying in the Salem area although it is only an hour from Portland. So it might be an option for that as well. We found the original pancake house.
