“Unfortunately, our room had significant issues. From the moment we entered, there was a strong mildew/musty odor. We reported it, but the hotel was sold out and couldn’t move us. As we settled in, we discovered the carpet was damp underfoot, the comforters felt damp, and the air was extremely moist. The window was painted/sealed shut and couldn’t be opened. “The home was very clean. The kitchen had all the cookware and extras that we could have needed. No limitation on cook tools, utensils, bedding. The bed was a nice firm bed. The back yard was very pretty, the Peonies were in bloom. Thanks to the fence it was a great place for our dogs to run around in. As in all lush environments around water, there were a few sprigs of poison ivy on the fence line and the wood pile, but they were easily covered with a piece of firewood.”

Love the central location between all of our normal trails. I gave it a 4 star over all because although it had free wifi there was no cellular service.
