“Nice spot in the Rockies. Twin Peaks in Ouray is an older hotel that does things right. Check in is "automated" and after a long drive I did not expect that, once on the kiosk it was fine. The staff behind the counter could not have been nicer and helped as needed. The location is great, right at the entrance to Box Canyon, the rooms were very clean and well maintained. “Overall it was a really enjoyable stay at the Matterhorn. It was quiet, the rooms were clean and well appointed, and there were plenty of great restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. The only thing I think prospective visitors need to know is that while it is a resort town, it looked like there was only one bar open past 10pm. All the other shops/restaurants close around 9pm or so. Other than that, the stay was amazing and the mountain views were absolutely stunning!”
