“The hotel was a small but lovely place. We had a room with a full size bed, we thought we were getting a queen, and a shared bathroom, that we were told was very nice bathroom. The shower was like a camoer shower, the way it was explained we wete under assumption it was a spa like bathroom. I understand most Colorado does not have Air conditioning, it was 85 degrees in the hotel at 8PM. Large steep flight of stairs to walk to the rooms wasn't pleasant for a handicapped person. “This is our second year staying here and we'll definitely be back again! We've been to Ouray 5 times and this is our favorite place to stay. Having a full kitchen and utensils is the best. Steve and Nova take wonderful care of the property and are always ready to assist if needed though we didnt need anything. It's so thoughtful that they provide a welcome basket and towels for the hot springs. I love having our own space AND our own deck to hang out and enjoy the view.”

Due to a sudden wildfire road closure on US-550, Google Maps suggested an alternative route via Ophir Pass.
