“Pool was not in service and ice machine was broken. Hot water did not work for the first day and a half. Otherwise what you’d expect”

“We have been coming here for the last few years for the Durango Iron Horse Classic tour. We stay in the cabins. The cabins are cleans, beds are comfortable, and the property is chill. The cabins have running water and air conditioning. Great bargain overall.”

“Nice old vintage feeling hotel. With working neon sign ! The lobby has beer decorations and the owner was very nice. Room was clean and everything worked in there. Yeah there was some small stuff with drywall a Karen could complain about but it didn’t bother us. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.”

“This is a really funky, quaint historic hotel. Great location, you can walk all over Silverton and to the shops and restaurants. My son and I stayed on our way through to our home in Northern Colorado. We were in the two bedroom room. The beds were super comfortable and we slept really well. Our main complaint was that we couldn't see in the bathroom, there was one little light by the mirror. There was another small wall light by the shower, but it had no bulb in it - so the shower was quite...

“The hotel was a small but lovely place. We had a room with a full size bed, we thought we were getting a queen, and a shared bathroom, that we were told was very nice bathroom. The shower was like a camoer shower, the way it was explained we wete under assumption it was a spa like bathroom. I understand most Colorado does not have Air conditioning, it was 85 degrees in the hotel at 8PM. Large steep flight of stairs to walk to the rooms wasn't pleasant for a handicapped person. Nice place but...

“We used almost all amenities while staying here: the locker room, lap pool, fitness center, business center, and restaurants. The staff was wonderful, the food delicious, the pools were great to use for my morning swim. We would stay again. Our only disappointment was that we couldn't get any WIFI connection in our room, even our phones said "emergency calls only"- so if you stay at the end of the hall with rooms 200, be aware you may not have service.”
