“We had a wonderful stay! The area is beautiful, the location is excellent, and the cabin was cozy, comfortable, and perfect for a couple. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. We didn’t use the hot tub because we spent our time relaxing at the Pagosa hot springs resort instead. We only saw the staff once when we arrived, but we were busy exploring the area and didn’t need anything during our stay. “This was a perfect little getaway! Breakfast was delicious and so fun to talk to the hosts and other guests. The tranquility is incomparable to any other hotel and the horses on site brought such peace and healing! The kitchen was gorgeous and well stocked with kitchen supplies that you'd need to prepare a meal adequately. The staff was so helpful and the room was spotless. I stayed in the annex. They even helped to know where to go for dinner. The springs are close by and worth a pop in.”

“Nice old vintage feeling hotel. With working neon sign ! The lobby has beer decorations and the owner was very nice. Room was clean and everything worked in there. Yeah there was some small stuff with drywall a Karen could complain about but it didn’t bother us. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.”

“Amazing house , beautiful property . Walter , his wife and the rest of the staff ( Sonny and Fonzie ) were excellent hosts and very kind . One of the best places I've stayed at in the world! Wouldn't even consider any other spot next time I'm in Durango , CO.”

“The room were cleaned. Furniture were very old, fan in the bathroom was very noisy. The AC was extremely noisy we had to turn it off because of the noise. Breakfast was very limited, no bread or bagel. There was coffee, cereals, yogurt, muffins small and loaded with calories, orange Juice waffle that you have to prepare yourself. The breakfast room 6 tables, but outdoors seating was available. Parking was next to the room.”

“Staff was excellent and very friendly and personable. Building needs upkeep. An ac unit for the building would be nice. It has an indoor pool and hot and without a working hvac system the entire building felt like a sauna.”

“Clean, bed was firm, hot water, had shampoo, conditioner, body wash. Right next to river walk and river. Nice outdoor seating. Easy walk to a few restaurants.”

“Our stay at the Durango RV Park was great! Our cabin was right on a canal but somehow there weren't a ton of bugs. My kids loved playing in the pool! There were other activities as well, we just didn't get around to doing them. The staff was very helpful and everything was ready for us when we got there. It was super helpful having the small refrigerator and a grill on our deck. Everything was great and I would definitely stay there again.”

“This is a really funky, quaint historic hotel. Great location, you can walk all over Silverton and to the shops and restaurants. My son and I stayed on our way through to our home in Northern Colorado. We were in the two bedroom room. The beds were super comfortable and we slept really well. Our main complaint was that we couldn't see in the bathroom, there was one little light by the mirror. There was another small wall light by the shower, but it had no bulb in it - so the shower was quite...

“This place is run down and dirty/ poorly maintained. We checked in and immediately left and Expedia and the hotel kept our money. I have photos - paint splattered everywhere - dirty mattress corners, hair in the tub - every wall and fixture beat up. Ac sounded like a freight train. Someone’s shampoo left in the shower. For ~ $200 a night - unacceptable. Do not book here!”
