“Everything there is worth the stay. From a good filling breakfast to a nice clean room. And friendly staff was helpful when when I had booking trouble through a third party company. Excellent stay”

“The Alpine Anne itself was good. The problem right now in Pagosa Springs is all the road construction. Don’t know when that’s going to be over but I’m sure that the Alpine and owners are just as eager to see it and as the traveling public.”

“We loved this property for the views even though it was off the beaten path. The two issues we encountered were that breakfast service started at 8am (when we wanted to be on the road earlier), and the bathrooms in the lower bedrooms of the Annex were very small (think cruise-sized) and the shower fixture was difficult to figure out, which caused us to have hot water hitting us before we determined how it worked.”

“The rooms were dirty, the towels appeared to be used before us, the pool & hot tub were filthy, grime and trash floating in the pool, the overheard in the pool was broken, & cracks, We were concerned walking in the would suddenly crash down on us. I will not rent here parking was overcrowded, as for staff, not very friendly”

“Great location, especially if you have any appointments/prosedures scheduled @ Mercy Hospital. Also there is a AMC mega movie plex About a 50 yards from the hotel lobby. The mall & Walmart are super close. Only complaint l have is….super strict laws on towels. I stayed one night and woke up to find out. “Dang no towels for showering, not even one. Had to dry with hand towels and dirty T shirts from my travels. Other than this was a solid night stay.”

“The beds were decent and appreciated the ice machine. It is a simple, no frills stay. It did need some updating in the room regarding doors and couch.”

“Lobby was closed when I got there had to call but a key was left in a lock box. Older hotel but clean. Not enough parking. Didn't really feel safe when outside.”

“Basic accommodations. Fine for a day or two. Shower was refreshing. Good location. Shining point is the onsite bar. Not the type of place I'd expect in Pagosa Springs. Great vibe and style. Drinks were OK...environment was great.”

“The room was OK for the price, but the breakfast offerings were among the worst I’ve ever seen at a hotel. There was also a balance on my account upon checking out that the clerk couldn’t figure out. I prepaid for the room so there shouldn’t have been a charge. But they did move us to a different room because we had our service dog with us.”

“The room was comfortable and clean. Property was located next to riverwalk and outdoor space was a bonus Loved my stay!”

“Room was very clean. Staff was very friendly not far from downtown, but the beds were very hard and the pillow is very flat.”

“Breakfast was a total disappointment, coffee cold and you have to ask staff for everything because there is nothing available. We are happy to hear they are remodeling the hotel, hopefully we go back to see the finished work, we got a lake view and we enjoyed the view.”
