“The rooms are clean but I do feel it does need a bit of TLC or a quick makeover. The staff were helpful however did see much of them.”

“Very helpful staff as we had to check in late, easy to reach via phone as well, useful booklet in the room and more info leaflets in the communal space.”

“The location of the property is good if you don't mind walking. The parking permit given to allow parking in certain zones is very good. Although if busy can be difficult to find a space but that is nothing the owners can control. The room was clean. We had the small double room. It is very compact. The bed seems very small for a double and is pushed against a wall, not ideal when 2 people are sleeping in it. The shower was small too. You can hear the conversations in the next room. Would i...

“We loved the grandure of the hotel enerance ,check in very easy, staff very good , as we were a trans couple we were made to feel very welcom. Breackfast very good . Room was clean but the veiw was spoilt by the windows that looked as if they had never been cleaned for years. The entertainment was good. We think that brittania should invest in spending some money on this property and it would attract more customers.”

“Amazing B&B with great views and brilliant team. The lounge is comfortable and the honesty bar is a really nice touch. Rooms are very well maintained and serviced each day. The welcome we received was extra warm and our children settled quickly. The breakfast selection was spot in, good range and quality. Short walk to the town and free parking outside. We will certainly use again.”

“Staff very good nothing was a problem catering for wife with a gluten free breakfast”

“Could say that the parking is chargeable”

“Claire was a gracious and helpful host who really went above and beyond to ensure we had an enjoyable stay.”

“First time staying here and I had a really lovely experience. The room had everything I needed and the little touches like the tea tray and snacks were a lovely bonus. Stephen was really helpful when I checked in and couldn’t have been more welcoming. The bed was so comfortable and I had a great night’s sleep. I’d definitely stay again.”

“We found the staff very friendly, had a lovely meal in the restaurant with the staff very attentive. The room we were allocated was room 6, a cozy double room even so a chair of some kind would have been useful and yes there was enough room for one. It had a great shower but a shelf in the cubicle would be of great advantage. It would have been helpful to be advised in the advertising of the room that the window in the room was frosted so there were no views from the room.”
