“Reception is the bar! Very pleasant and patient staff. Pricey evening meal, but a nice restaurant with a good choice on the menu. Nice gardens including a giant chess set - all very well kept. Big car park. Nice room, clean, comfortable bed, nice bathroom, but I didn't try the shower. Tassimo coffee machine. Great breakfast menu - I had steak and eggs for no supplement, which was a lovely surprise, thanks. I don't travel down this neck of the woods very often, but I'd stay again having grabbed...

“Lovely stay here, friendly staff and very helpful. Nice area very quiet and peaceful but still close to shopping and sightseeing.”

“In the bathroom it could have a handle to hold onto when getting out of shower and some more sockets at side of beds other then that it was clean and staff friendly”

“We stayed here on a Car Club weekend with a large party of friends including an annual dinner. Although the staff were helpful and tried their best to provide a good service, there were too few of them; especially on the Sunday evening. Apparently, there were only 5 out of 25 staff that should have been on duty meaning there was no housekeeping (therefore rooms not serviced) and the kitchen, bar and waiting staff were hard pressed to keep up with demand. “Check in was fine and quick, team member was helpful. However, the room it self even though it was tiny, we thought the bed would be bigger. It’s smaller than a double. We didn’t expect AC in the cabin, but we did require at least one fan as it was soo warm in there. I was not able to sleep. We wouldn’t stay there again, unfortunately.”
