“I booked our stay at this property 1 week prior to check in. Shortly after I booked this property, I received an email from VRBO that my reservation was confirmed. While driving to the property on check in day we were 30 minutes from arriving at the property when I contacted the owner for check in procedures. I told the owner I was the person who booked the property for the weekend. The owner sounded confused and told me to hold on and hung up on me. Five minutes later I received a full refund...

“I've stayed in many places in my life. I love the peacefulness of staying in a quiet, clean, quaint house. The Barby Haus was by far the cleanest, most tastefully decorated (unbelievably special antiques and touches) yet, completely modern house I've ever stayed in. Not a single guest "welcome detail" is overlooked. Impeccable!”
