B&B a Sears Island

“Esperienza eccezionale!! Abbiamo dormito in questa casa del 1800 con Genny e Lori padrone di casa stupende. Al mattino ci cucinavano loro un’ottima colazione e si parlava di tutto. Ci siamo sentiti coccolati e ospiti graditi. La casa è bellissima!! 3 camere con bagno in comune ma nelle due notti in cui eravamo lì nn c’era nessuno e zona relax in comune. A 3 minuti di macchina c’è un ristorante in cui si mangia bene e a buoni prezzi.”

“This is a quaint almost like a boarding house but very VERY far from Acadia. The hour plus drive was torture on really bad roads and locals doing 85 on 45 roads with twists and curves. Really tough at night and coming back from the park. Do not book if you want proximity to Bar Harbor. The breakfast is overpriced and the serving staff overwhelmed. There are no options and the nearest place to get food is miles away. They offer pizza on Monday for $35 which is ridiculous. There is no fridge or...

“Carol and Carl thought of everything! The inn was an old Victorian, thoughtfully decorated in Victorian charm. It had two veranda‘s which my husband and I enjoyed sitting on. Our room,the Emerald room, had a separate door that took us right out to the rear veranda where we ate breakfast, had picnic lunches, and beverages at night. There was a thunder storm one morning during breakfast that provided such a tranquil and relaxing breakfast atmosphere on the veranda. Which brings me to the amazing...

“Under new ownership has the kitchen open to guests at all hours. NIce tho some guests cook and dont wash their dishes and no one on site to supervise it. I put way dishes from the staff baking muffins early in the day and wiped counters and tied up a full to the brim garbage can. I like the access to kitchen and common area but not if area is not monitored. Room was clean as usual and comfortable and well decorated. NO hot water for morning shower in upstairs room tho.”

“We very much enjoyed our stay on this beautiful property. It was very relaxing. The staff were incredibly friendly, especially Casey. It's very close to Camden and Rockport. The facility is getting a bit dated, but still a wonderful place to stay. Would return and highly recommend. Also, I had the best warm lobster roll at McLaughlins in Lincolnville.”

“This was our first visit to Camden and this B&B was a delight. Comfy, clean and well decorated. Host was friendly and helpful. Garden is beautiful and nice place to look out on while relaxing on porch. Breakfast was wonderful to look forward to. This will be a nice place to return to.”
