“The staff were very friendly and couldnt do enough to ensure our stay was comfortable. Our room was spacious clean and exactly like advertised on the web site. Everything was very clean. Bathroom and shower etc very good and spotless. We dined at the Indian restaurant next door the food was excellent and the service friendly and professional. Ths only sad thing was the little coffee shop is no longer there but I understand why. ”

“Accomodation was clean, welcoming, beautiful, bed was super comfortable, had everything you could possibly need. They really did anticipate your every wish. Historically very interesting. Full English breakfast was incredible. Parking was easy and much appreciated. Staff - Greg, Sarah and Sam were all amazingly helpful with customer service being top of their mind. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!”

“It is a true gem of a hotel. Beautiful buildings, both old and new, and a magical garden. Two residents lounges plus a library with pool/snooker table. Reception were efficient and friendly, and the room exceeded our expectations, with wonderful attention to details. I am not a breakfast lover, but there was plenty of xhoice, and frankly the best hotel breakfast I have ever sampled. “Albergo silenzioso e dall’aria familiare. Camera grande e ariosa. Anche i Beatles hanno soggiornato in questo hotel. Antico ma ristrutturato. Molte spine nella camera. Peccato per i materassi sfondati e per il bagno sporco, scarno, senza una luce allo specchio e senza nessuna mensola. Asciugamani insufficienti. Mancava un tappetino per il bagno. ”

“The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Service is very good. The double room was very clean and tidy. Also quite, though you do, as someone else has mentioned previously, hear the church bells. “Nice place to stay - very convenient for events at Sparkford Hall as its walkable in 10 minutes - comfy family room which was spacious and had the essentials with a nice clean bathroom. Would stay again in the future as it was in quite a nice location.”

“History on the doorstep with the rained castle. Complete with moat. Lovely pretty small village. Not an extensive menu. Very tasty and well cooked food. Very attentive service. Seating inside and outside by the stream. We had the basic twin bedded room. Which was as the room suggests basic. Very clean and comfortable bed. ”
