“The hotel is ideally situated at the edge of the New Forest. The staff - especially the manager - were very helpful and nice. The room had been freshly renovated and was spacious, great towels, nice bathroom and nice view onto the landscape. We also had dinner there and it was really delicious. ”

The room was very cozy, clean, and beautiful! The inn is located in the middle of the national park so you can easily walk to a nearby path or drive for a short distance to other paths. I would definitely recommend!”

“Basic room as expected but very poor lighting, dirty windows, lack of attention to detail (light bulbs filthy and some not working, no evidence of dusting skirtings), general grubbiness, particularly in the bathroom which is long overdue a refit - washbasin cracked, grout dirty, blackmould around shower screen, broken bath panel.”
