“My daughter and I stayed here for the mother-daughter Gilmore Girls trip and I can't say enough good things. From the first moment of walking in the door, the view of the Housatonic River was breathtaking. The beds are gorgeous and so comfortable. The room is very spacious and relaxing. “Nonostante il preavviso di una settimana non sono riuscita ad entrare in contatto con i gestori per cancellare la prenotazione ed avere un rimborso ( unico modo era un contatto telefonico ma dall'italia complicato) Sarebbe andato bene anche un rimborso parziale, nulla. Alla mail con la mia richiesta non ho mai ricevuto risposta, al mio non apparire in stanza nemmeno. Non lo consiglierei a nessuno: nel mezzo della campagna senza nessun tipo di assistenza”

“This is actually a beautiful building. The rooms of especially the bathrooms that they are advertising with Jacuzzi tubs are extremely overdue for renovation. There is paint and tile chipping all over the place in the bathroom and Jacuzzi tub. The sheets had those are yellow stains on them if you know what I’m talking about it looks good from the outside. It’s a different world on the inside.”

“We stayed overnight at the Lodge, as our daughter had her prom at the Inn. It was clean, peaceful, and affordable. My husband and I had a delicious dinner at the Inn restaurant and we all enjoyed breakfast at the Café. Lovely time.”

“God where do I start. I'll start with the bad then go to good. 1. Office smelled like an Indian buffet 2. No heat. Told the manager. He came in the room, put the AC on to 71 thinking I am dumb. Was on the whole night, very loud and yes the temp dropped. I was too lazy to shut off. 3. Was reading my text while in bed. Laughed out loud and said 'Ha, ha, ha" three times. “It was difficult to get into the room with two tricky combination locks. You can't watch any TV unless you know your streaming service passwords, no free TV. The coffee machine was plugged in but we couldn't figure out how to work it (no instructions available to read). The mattress was excellent and we slept well. Some might not like the train horns, but we didn't mind.”

“Clean room, helpful staff. We only slept there one night. Was there maybe 8 hours. The vents were comfortable. The towels need to be updated and we're not as white as I'd like them to be. A bit gray/worn. Other than that it fit our needs.”
