“This property is gorgeous , the staff and services are premium. The food is delicious. The surrounding is beautiful and amazing. If you have a car, I strongly recommend it. I like everything except the earlier afternoon shuttle service. The hotel provides free shuttle service to nearby ski resort Annupuri. It has 7:30, 8:30am shuttle to Annupuri, and 3pm pick up from Annupuri. The only way to get back to hotel is by taxi if you missed the 3pm shuttle; however, taxi is hard to find overall. If...

“We had the best stay! All of the staff were very friendly and very accommodating. We were very sad to leave this place – the loveliest hosts in one of the most beautiful places. Magi made us feel at home and was great with translating, Ryu helped us plan our days and gave great local attraction suggestions, Ichiro was flexible with our schedule, and Natsuki was the best driver and and made our transit enjoyable. Can't wait to come back! ”

“Check-in was a little odd using a machine, but there was an employee who helped us. The nearby lake was beautiful, although we didn't have the clearest view from our room. The free sake was fun in the lobby. Breakfast was also tasty. The Japanese-style mattress (futon) could have used a bit more padding.”

“洞爺湖に近くて良い。 洞爺湖万世閣ホテルの日帰り入浴も安価で利用できる（朝と夜で男女入れ替わり::展望の良くサウナもある） HIDEの隣にある爺さん婆さんが営む「味の一平」は串もおでんも絶品です。（営業時間が短いので注意：20:00頃には閉店？） オーナーさんに会うことはなかったが、SMSで連絡頂けたりとても親切でした。”

“若要找簡單的住宿，這間很不錯喔！價格便宜，地點方便，雖然房間在二樓，拿行李也還行。老闆也很好！房裡有放室內電話，抵達後可以撥給房東；房裡也有旅遊資料供房客參考。建議大門安裝門鎖或密碼鎖，讓住戶可以鎖門會安心一點喔！（可能這裡治安非常良好吧！）”

Another disappointment is thst the hotel only have shower in the onsen which many guests may like the experience but better if the hotel can consider shower room for people who wants privacy. “Hide (owner) is such a kind and compassionate person. On arrival he gave us fruit and there were many snacks provided in the rooms. Many of the other days he would give us more fruit and then a lovely gift when we left. Every day he was so helpful in removing all the snow from our vehicle before we left for the ski fields. Hide is what makes this hotel such a pleasant place to stay. Thanks Hide, we loved staying with you!”

“This place was our (group of 3) favorite during our travels to Hokkaido. It was much cozier than the pictures convey and the sauna was a welcome luxury after skiing and very snowy days. It was majestic to be able to walk to Ukimido Pagoda on a moody weather day, then come back to our cozy lodge.
