“The Lodge was beautiful and well-staffed and maintained. Unexpected for a State Park. The restaurant, Cascades, was also over-the-top good. All the staff were courteous and helpful and made my stay so enjoyable. Also the mountain park is absolutely gorgeous. The view from the Lodge is breathtaking!”

“This property was amazingly beautiful. Very friendly greeting from the Hostess, very clean and the grounds had several nice areas to sit and relax. It’s about 8 minutes from Dahlonega which is very convenient. If you’re looking for a nice place to unwind and be surrounded by flowers, trees and a beautiful view of the mountains this is it.”

“The bedding looked like it wasn't very clean and ended up sleeping on a sheet in blanket of my own. Upon leaving the elevator on the floor of my assigned room, there was a heavy scent of marijuana in the hallways.”

“We waited over 30 minutes to check in. We had to wait in a dirty run down outdoor deck with very old uncomfortable metal chairs. When we were finally given our room keys, we couldn't drive to our room because a truck was blocking the roadway. We ended up canceling our reservation and chose not to stay.”

“The room was clean and they did give us new towels even on days they didn't do full cleaning services, which I appreciate. We were given a handicap room and the shower was a little run down and off color. No conditioner or lotion bottles, only a bar soap, with no holder for the soap, and a shampoo bottle. The breakfast was very basic, there were waffles, so if you're looking for that, they have it. No protein options though. We ended up going to Waffle House which was very close by. They do have...

“The hotel is in a great location in Dahlonega, and has historic character. Don’t expect it will be fancy. It has all that is needed for basics, in the great location.”

“Absolutely Amazing! Great location, walking distance to everything you would need, scenery gorgeous and peaceful, will definitely come back! We have a big F250 so parking was a bit challenging but not properties fault, just a note for future guests”

“It was terrible from check in to the 4 day stay. No room service, no fresh towels, slow drainage in sink, no emptying garbage, people sat in cars to smoke so that’s all you smelled coming out of room. There was dried urine under toilet and dust/hair behind it. The bed was comfortable. Only reason we stayed cause there was no vacancies near by. We come every year. Will not be making anymore reservations.”
