“Room is big and clean. Front desk lady was very nice, shared all details for breakfast and WiFi and recommended a great restaurant for dinner. The hotel is next to the highway so if your room is close to it, you can hear a bit of the road. It’s not very noisy but if you are sensitive to noise, it could be bothersome. Overall clean, welcoming, well located hotel. ”

“My husband and I will always remember our trip at Crossroad Inn fondly.
It felt a bit strange at first, renovating an old American house into a guesthouse, but it was a truly special experience for us.
It felt similar to the old residential environment we saw at the Thomas Jefferson Memorial in Monticello, and it will remain a new memory, unlike any we've experienced on our previous trips to the US.
The early morning jog to the winery will also be a fond memory.”
“This property is actually a very run down motel. The three story facility does not even have an elevator! When we found this out we asked for a first floor room only to find that the room was actually UNDERGROUND up to the window sill and faced directly on to the parking lot (i.e lined up with the car exhaust pipes!)
The only positive note was the courtesy shown by the staff member at the reception desk.
We did not spend the night there.”
“I would say the room was great. It was clean and very spacious. The staff working in the office were very friendly and kind. The parking is plentiful and easy to access. The area around the hotel is quiet and calm. The only real consideration is that the area where this is located does not have much in the way of food options, shopping, or much else and the hotel staff and owners of course don't have anything to do with that.

“We loved Love Ridge Mountain Lodge, we stayed at the Kennedy Ridge! It was clean and well kept! Communication was great with the owners and everything is available in the home! Very peaceful and relaxing! We even met Chester! The property cat, she is loving and hung out with us for a bit! Awesome experience, if you are visiting or from Virginia we recommend the lodge! ”
