“Great experience in a fairly new hotel”

“I booked this room for location, price on a last minute price/availability needed stay, and after reading reviews that were positive. Unfortunately, I’m not sure what the positive reviews were based on. If it was on the bed alone, I agree, it was a clean place for me to lay my head for 7 hours. But the entire hotel was old, the rooms are in desperate need of repairs and cleaning. The bathroom ceiling was full of black mold. And for a non-smoking hotel, the hallways all reeked of cigarette smoke....

“Decent place, easy access off the freeway, dining close by and a good breakfast. Only complaint, walls are thin. We had a adjoining room and the doors have zero sound blocking”

“This was the worst hotel I have experienced. The pictures on Expedia do not match the reality of the hotel. When we first walked in, there was a pile of trash outside the door. We looked passed it, thinking it could just be a blip. Nope. When going to our room we came across stairs covered in duck tape, broken blinds on the windows, and dirty carpets. In our room the window would not close, the bathroom was filthy. Finger prints, hair, and a stained bath mat. We called the front office to...

“Television had no reception. The electrical receptacles in the lamps were totally worn out and did not work. Being on the third floor we could hear every step of the people above us. No fan in the bathroom.”

“They charged me after I paid Expedia. Additionally, the rooms were muggy, sticky, and moldy. The long-term resident who lived above stomped around all night making it impossible to sleep.”

“Pro: The room was spacious and clean. I love the fact that we had a microwave and fridge in the room. The bed was super comfy as well. Con: On several occasions we hard a dog barking and people talking in the hall. We had the breakfast buffet and it was NOT worth it for the money you pay. It was almost $30.00 for two of us. I get a better free continental breakfast at other hotels. ”
