“Beautiful view & hotel!”

“We had a child in our group and staff was always friendly, available and responsive in escorting us to the restaurant and back to the lodge through the casino area.”

“Our room was extremely clean and quiet. There was a fan but no air conditioning. We did not need it. There was no elevator which was a problem for us but, we made it. I would like to stay there again if I could be on first floor.”

“Location is walking distance to the Ferry, and the views are very scenic. Our particular room was located on the first floor of an older two story quad unit. It lacked adequate sound proofing allowing us to hear every foot step, luggage roll, toilet flush, etc…, resulting in an extremely poor nights sleep. Word to the wise ~ request a second floor room! Recommend the hotel have an additional attendant to help keep the breakfast items replenished, many items were cleared out and not replaced.”

“Nice clean and cozy room. Bed was very comfortable and hardwood floors, which is key. Room is small, not a lot of extra space for two people to splay out, but it was what we needed for a short stay. Microwave and mini fridge in the room which is always nice to have. Staff was very friendly when we were checking in.”

“The reviews we read had us worried, but our experience was wonderful. We had a beautiful room right at the water’s edge and enjoyed swimming in the pool. Although the washing machines could use some updating, we were able to wash everything we needed on-site. The staff was kind, but be aware that if you arrive after hours, you will need to find your room on your own. We had no trouble because the maps were clear and the directions made sense. “The rooms were clean but dark inside. Could have used brighter lamps or any overhead light in the main area of the room. The rooms seem a little worn and not that inviting. The price was appropriate for what was offered, and the view of the foothills was very nice. The room and surrounding areas were very quiet so it was easy to rest and sleep comfortably. The staff was nice but abrupt. I would stay there again. Thank you!”

“This motel was not what I expected. I needed an easy in-and-out room with no stairs, because of my large dog. This motel was in the Wyndham group so I thought it would be clean and in good repair, just very basic with no amenities. This was not that. I ended up with a room on the second floor - so not what I needed or asked for, in spite of few other guests at the motel. There were many items (lights, outlets, etc.) in the room in need of repair. “The room was okay. The picture they show of the view was very misleading. You see Mt. Baker but you see a painting company and their ugly trucks and right under the window. Also, the fireplace wasn't working. They informed us that they shut off the gas during the warmer months. The fireplace was one of the main reasons we chose this room and there was no disclaimer stating the fireplace wouldn't be working. Very disappointed.
