Hotel a South Littleton

“Loved old inn. Staff went over and above to be helpful,dog even had sausage gor breakfast. I found out no lift Expedia said couldn't ca cel without losing my money,when I told them this they said not a problem they would have returned it,again thanks for nothing Expedia. Staff so helpful and helped to get up to bed. Food was to die for had evening meal,lovely fresh cooked menu and breakfast again fabulous. Would recommend and would go again in spite of no lift!”

“Dirt in the room and under the bed. Staff generally good. Booking came with a room upgrade due to status. Room upgrade didn’t occur despite the hotel being empty and having availability on their website. Emailed the hotel through Expedia app (replying to the message they sent me) asking questions. That was ignored and not responded to. Dinner food quality was poor considering my the level they quote themselves to be at and prices charged. Ice cream for dessert clearly suffering from freezer burn...

“Like the location, easy to get around the costwolds. The staff were nice and polite. Didn’t like the bed at all! 2 nights of bad sleep. The mattress was very uncomfortable. The door to our room was very difficult to secure, the lock not working properly. Continental breakfast was good and plenty of choices.”

“I originally booked my stay at the Rising Sun Inn because I was in the area to see Van Morrison. What I didn't expect was how much I'd enjoy everything else the hotel has to offer. The inn was comfortable, welcoming, and a great base for exploring the beautiful countryside. One of the highlights of my trip turned out to be the wonderful hiking opportunities right around the hotel. “Much better than last time I stayed, Not the best of hotels, but the that is reflected in the price you pay. Mainenance is also quite poor with several light fittings in my room not working.”

“Friendly staff”

“The hotel is located in the village of Blockley, one of our favourite villages in the Cotswolds, as it is completely untouristy and truly charming. It is also very close to other villages, all easily reachable within 10–15 minutes by car. The hotel rooms are a bit dated, but the staff were extremely kind and even upgraded our room, giving us a very lovely and comfortable accommodation. Breakfast, ordered from the menu, was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay”
