“We really enjoyed our stay at the Grand Lodge Traverse condo. The pet-friendly setup and free shuttle into town were huge perks. The condo was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed, including pots and pans, dishes, a toaster, microwave, dishwasher, and even two coffee makers. Some of those weren’t listed, so that was a nice surprise. “Right next to lift 1 at the base, where there are chairs to sit and enjoy the view. Comfortable room with full kitchen. Just what I was looking for, a quiet, cool place to escape the heat and do some hiking. If you’ve never done it, Williams Lake is my favorite hike in New Mexico. Prior to July 4 (and maybe after) the restaurants at the ski area are only open Th-Sun. So if you don’t bring food, you have to drive back to Taos.”
