Hotel vicino a Southridge Mall - Des Moines

“When I checked into the hotel, they told me a hold deposit is required for incidental and it would be refunded within a few days. I didn't get the refund after 4 days and was also charged another deposit. Both charges were already posted to my credit card account within 2 days of my stay instead of in pending status. “A clean and safe place to stay in Des Moines, especially by the airport. They also offer a park and stay deal, for those who need to fly out but leave their car somewhere. The staff were extremely kind, but we didn't have a pleasant experience with the lady running the breakfast in the morning. She could have been tired, but was short with us trying to make a waffle. “My family and I enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Des Moines Airport. The facility and our room was clean. The staff was friendly throughout our stay and a shuttle was provided to and from the airport which made it even more convenient. I would definitely stay again if I returned to Iowa.”

On check-in, Parker explained our parking options (rapidly, with an obvious intent to suggest we pay for the $20/daily unlimited in-and-out hotel parking; with a statement that he didn't know the cost of parking on the street (it's $1.25/hour from 9 am to 9 pm; free overnight) and that the ramp across the way was $10/day with no in and out. “A front receptionist was repeatedly rude to the customers she managed over the phone. She was argumentative and denigrated her customers on the phone….including me. She argued with how I made my reservation - a phone call to Hilton reservations- she stated was made through a third party. That sort of rudeness required a re-think of her people-facing role. She became frustrated, her voices was raised, argumentative and simply rude. Never should she have access to customers. ”
