“Bed was not comfy as we had backache after second night , we turned mattress round was ok that night but the after that . The step into the shower was too high and we had to buy a step to get in it and also the floor surface was very slippy . Was ck an and tidy and overall not a bad place to stay and would recommend and return at some point ”

“I was attending a course in the leisure centre next door. The Aqua was an excellent, relaxed place to stay. The staff/owners were polite, friendly and generated a relaxed atmosphere. The small, well stocked bar carried on this relaxing, informal atmosphere. (The squeaky bar stools could do with fixing but were still amusing) The food is top notch and very affordable. “Hotel is in great location but the car park is a public car park. So in busy times you could end up with no space although it’s a large car park. And it’s rough, loose stones and not flat. The staff are lovely, very helpful. We had a lovely sea view room, comfortable bed, nice bedding, not huge and the en suite is quite snug, but lovely and clean and modern. Nice to have cooked to order breakfast, overall a good place to stay.”

“So close to the beach and all amenities and right next door to The Pavillion where we were going that evening. The room was just right though small and compact. The bed very comfortable so got a good nights sleep. It was all very clean which was fab. Lovely tasty breakfast. The parking was difficult as so busy but everything else made up for it!
