“Clean, spacious, and modern room that was very comfortable for our stay. However, the property feels more like an upscale motel than a full-service hotel. There is a pool that looked clean and family-friendly, though fairly basic rather than resort-style. Check-in and check-out were fully self-service, which was convenient, but there were no visible staff onsite, so it lacked the service and atmosphere you’d typically expect from a hotel.”

“We were very excited for our stay at this hotel as we had seen the pictures online and booked a sea view balcony room based on this. We open our balcony doors to sit and enjoy a glass of wine and the ‘paid for sea view’ which was a very large tree that blocked the whole view of the sea. After 20 minutes we had to close the door and sit inside our room due to people on the public benches below our room smoking not only tobacco but also cannabis with the smoke coming directly into the room. “We had such a wonderful stay at this property. Super clean and spacious with 6 adults, 1 six month old and a dog it was the perfect house. Mandy was very efficient with communication and making our stay very comfortable. Being our first time staying at Batemans Bay we loved the walk from Surfside into town everyday and Mandy gave us some recommendations on what to see/do. Can’t wait to stay again soon ”

“It's a great location. a short walk to everything along the water. But the room is quite small, property quite dated, not well maintained. The staff was only lukewarm with our inquiries and questions.. Bathroom newly renovated though, very nice showerhead.”

“I always like to stay at Zorba’s. It’s right in town with a lovely view of the inlet. The staff are very helpful too. The rooms are very comfy, the bed perfect. It’s a lovely thing to wake up in the morning, pull back the curtains and look at the water.”
