“We stayed in Villa Johanna and it was beautiful. The pools were clean. We had breakfast included and it was delicious. The resort was kept clean. It was walking distance to restaurants and stores. We enjoyed our stay. Staff was very helpful.”

“Very clean rooms with fully equipped kitchen, beach and restaurants walkable within 5-10 minutes, and friendly staff. My room was situated near the pool and the lights are left on throughout the night so either bring a sleeping mask or ask for a unit in the back. ”

“The staff was exceptional! They are amazing and the food was DELICIOUS. We didn't want to eat anywhere else. No fridge or microwaves in the rooms but the AC worked great. The wifi in the rooms didn't work during our whole stay but the one closer to the kitchen did (we just had to leave our rooms and hang out in their dining area or the pool for signal).”

“The breakfast bread is so small that about a 1/4 of it was provided before. The canopy for the shade is so old that it is coming apart, and it makes it seem like a lock of maintenance. My room did not have much furniture, no chairs, no table for guests to visit, and sit down unless it was in the bed. No small refrigerator to keep drinks cool. “Our room was beautiful. Breakfast was a typical Salvadoran breakfast. The coffee was amazing. Although we didn't speak Spanish, we were able to communicate with staff through Google Translate. The staff were all very patient and kind.”

“The place is fine. It's conveniently located if you are driving. I would definitely say you might want to rent the car if you're staying here, if you plan on traveling anywhere further than El Tunco. The hotel advertised a pool for every room, but neither of the pools in my two rooms was functional. The filtration systems were not working, leaving the pools cloudy and unusable.
